A registry research index that shows what we know — and what we do not.
Production research meets historically identified chassis evidence. This public index is an anonymous aggregate research layer; staff-verified Registry evidence remains a separate publication-gated layer. No owner names, street addresses, precise live locations, or inference that an old sale venue is where a car is today.

Research registry, not surveillance. Historical evidence is useful for rarity and provenance research, but it is not a real-time ownership or location database.
How much of a model population have we actually identified?
A provenance-safe chassis evidence layer built from public sold-market records and source-backed production totals. It deliberately does not track owners or claim live vehicle locations.

Historical observation geography
Country attached to the evidence event — never interpreted as the vehicle’s current location.
What this does not mean
Country is the country attached to a historical evidence event. It is not the vehicle’s present location. Current-location claims are never inferred from an old auction or sale.
Chassis identifiers are never rendered in the public index. Country-level chassis counts are suppressed below 3 distinct chassis per model-country cell.
Coverage semantics
Registry Coverage is the share of a source-backed production total that has been historically identified in SCC evidence. The remainder means not yet identified in SCC evidence — not missing or unregistered cars.
Known chassis means a chassis identifier appeared in qualified public sold-market evidence. It does not mean SCC knows the owner.
Global registry index
Research coverage by model
Showing up to 80 matching models. Registry percentages only appear when the production denominator has a source and does not conflict with observed identity counts.
As of 2026-09-16 · 470 qualified historical observations · country cells below 3 distinct chassis are removed before the public client payload is serialized.
